Dead Flesh Signed to Coptercrash Records

Brutal Death Metal band, Dead Flesh, has just released news they've inked a deal with Hudson, FL based Coptercrash Records. Dead Flesh now shares label space with bands like Throatplunger, Chainsaw Dissection, and Human Mastication. The deal will cover the next 2 studio releases from the band.

Cannibal Corpse Touring With Children of Bodom in Europe

Following the release of their highly anticipated new album, 'Evisceration Plague', Cannibal Corpse will tour Europe with Children of Bodom and Diablo. The tour (as announced thus far) places the bands on fairly Death Metal friendly grounds.

Paths of Possession Album Delayed

Melodic Death Metalers, Paths of Possession, have delayed the recording for their new album. The album, originally slated for a September release, is the band's forth effort. The last album, "The End of the Hour",  was released a year ago. From bass player Randy Butman:
"The new PATHS recording (originally scheduled for September) has been delayed until sometime around summer. CANNIBAL CORPSE will be touring relentlessly after their upcoming release, so we have to get in when we can. We have nine songs written and are working on a few more.

Florida Death Metal legends Cannibal Corpse, have released the name of their upcoming studio effort, 'Evisceration Plague'. The album hits stores on February 3rd, 2009.

Updates From Nocturnus Tour

Nocturnus guitarist Mike Browning has issued the following statement on blabbermouth.net regarding their Europe tour: 

This is Mike Browning and I want to be totally up front and honest with everyone that the original lineup will not be touring. 

My band After Death will be doing the tour as Nocturnus, we WILL be playing at least 7 of the 10 songs on The Key as well as a couple of old Morbid Angel songs done the way they were originally written on Abominations of Desolation!

Obituary Checks in From Japan

Front man for the lengendary Tampa area Death Metal band, Obituary, has issued this update on their tour in Japan:
"What a night! Somewhere around 20,000 people going crazy. This was a long trip for only one show, especially on the heels of our U.S. tour, but it was well worth it! You guys were awesome last night and it looks like we will be coming back to Japan soon. Our EP is apparently selling great here and it is setting it up nicely for us to come back for a complete tour of Japan.

Hello everyone, Alex from Cannibal Corpse here checking in again from Mana Studios in St. Petersburg Florida. The last time you heard from us Paul had just finished the drum tracking, and we've made a lot of progress since then. Here's a brief rundown:
