Obituary to Record Another Album

Obituary, the pioneering Death Metal band from Tampa, FL, are back at it again. The band is currently in the studio recording it's 10th studio release in 20 years. Says Ralph Santolla :

"Trevor [Peres, guitar] finished his tracks yesterday, and I'm doing solos now. The new stuff is HEAVY, some of my favorite Obituary riffs yet. Trevor's guitar sounds huge and menacing. If you like Obituary, you're gonna love this record."

Cannibal Corpse Interview at Bravewords

Bravewords caught up with the guys in Cannibal Corpse for a post-recording interview. The interview can be found here. Cannibal Corpse recently finished up their latest recording, Evisceration Plague, at Mana Studios with the help of Erik Rutan. The interview catalogues the details of the album, as well as the band's future touring.

Cannibal Corpse Studio Update

Hello everyone, Alex from Cannibal Corpse here checking in again from Mana Studios in St. Petersburg Florida. The last time you heard from us Paul had just finished the drum tracking, and we've made a lot of progress since then. Here's a brief rundown: 
The rhythm guitar recording was the next part of the session. We spent a lot of time on it, both on attaining a crushing sound, and also on achieving airtight performances.

Cannibal Corpse Recording New Album

Cannibal Corpse is in the studio recording their next release. The album, which is still unnamed, is being recorded in St. Petersburg at the infamous Mana Studios. Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel) is producing the album alongside the band.

This will be the 11th full length album from the band, whose career spans over 20 years.
