Bone Gnawer is a Gore style Death Metal band from Orlando, FL with members in Sweden. The band started in 2008 under the moniker Revolting. Revolting was to be a computer-only project. However, with more people voicing interest in joining, the project became a band and Bone Gnawer was born.

While the band presents an image of a typical Brutal Death Metal band, the actual sound of Bone Gnawer is anything but. The Swedish part of the band definitely plays their part to develop the sound, which is really good.

Animus is a four-piece melodic Death Metal band from Winter Park, FL. The band draws influence from mainstream metal acts like Arch Enemy, In Flames, and Trivium. Interestingly enough, while the band doesn't cite The Absence as an influence, there's a lot of commonality with The Absence that can be heard on Animus, particularly in the verses of 'The Black Incarnation'.

Ninety Minute Reflex is a four-piece crazy-assed death metal band comprised of some amazing members, including alumni of The Absence and Black Dahlia Murder. The band formed in 2000, and has recorded albums at Mana Studios with the legendary Erik Rutan.

Ninety Minute Reflex cites inspiration from Carcass, Napalm Death, Nasum, and Pig Destroyer.

Cryptic Throne is a Black Metal band from Cocoa Beach, FL. The band started in 2005 by Abyssous and Eric, and has a single album, 'Apocalyptic Extermination', released on Metalbolic Records. That album is reminscient of Emperor and Watain, though produced much less.

The band underwent massive lineup changes in early 2008, and has yet to fully reform. Currently, Abyssous is the only member left in the band. He's publicly stated his intentions to continue to pursue the band.

Masticator is a three-piece Old School Death Metal band from West Palm Beach, FL. The sound of the band harkens back to the late eighties. This is a bit ironic, since the band consists primarily of minors. The entire lineup wasn’t even born when classics like Butchered at Birth, and Cause of Death were released. Their demo album, Premortem Autopsy owes much to those albums. Released on November 1st, the album was recorded in 702 Studios in Lake Worth, FL.

Masticator is a new sample of Florida Death Metal, that stays true to it’s old school roots.

Harvest the Deceased is a Hardcore / Deathcore band from Daytona Beach, FL. Unlike most other bands, Harvest the Deceased has two singers. The band has released 1 album and 1 demo since 2007. The band has recently signed to Foot and Mouth Records, and is scheduled to release a full length album in early 2009.

The band has toured extensively since their inception. They’ve also proved to be talented at using the internet for promotion, something many other start up Death Metal bands do not do well.

Cynic is a progressive metal band from Miami, FL. formed in 1987 by long time friends Paul Masvidal and Sean Reinert, the band started as a technical Death Metal band. The band had only one major release, Focus, which is highly regarded in metal circles. The band dissolved while preparing their second major release.

Cynic reformed in 2006, and is scheduled to release a new album in November of 2008.
