Pat O'Brien
Pat O'Brien is a guitarist for the death metal band Cannibal Corpse. He currently resides in Florida. He is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He owns a collection of guns including a Spas 12, an AK-74, and various tactical assault rifles. He has writing credits on some of Cannibal Corpse's more complicated songs, including "Hatchet to the Head," "Systematic Elimination," "Frantic Disembowelment" and "Blunt Force Castration." He is featured on the albums Gallery of Suicide, Bloodthirst, Gore Obsessed, Worm Infested, The Wretched Spawn, Kill, and Evisceration Plague.
He also played in death/thrash metal band Ceremony for a while in the 80's.
He also played guitar for Nevermore from 1994 to 1996.
Pat O'Brien joined Cannibal Corpse in 1997 after recording In Memory and The Politics of Ecstasy with Nevermore in 1995 - 1996, replacing Rob Barrett on guitars.
He uses B.C. Rich Jr.V's and occasionally a Jackson RR1. His signature is a B.C. Rich Jr.V that is a six string Baritone that is black with red bevels and is one of two guitars (owns both) that have a headstock that is a mix between a widow and a beast headstock (name for the headstock is currently unknown at this time). Amp-wise he uses Mesa Boogie triple rectifier 2 channel Amplifier Heads with 4x12 Cabinets, EMG pickups,and Dunlop Picks.
