I had the chance to sit down with Jeramie Kling, former drummer for The Absence, current drummer for Ninety Minute Reflex, and proprietor of the Smoke and Mirrors recording studio for an interview last Friday. Jeramie is a very down-to-earth kind of guy. I couldn't help but feel out-classed by him all day. His openness to us was a life-saver.

After the interview, a few of us got some grub and drove back to Orlando for the Amon Amarth show that night at The Club at Firestone. We met up with Chris Ott, the singer of Ninety Minute Reflex, and a few other buds there. Once the show was over, we hit up a local bar to hang out with some of the guys from Black Dahlia Murder, friends of Jeramie, who are recording their new album in Altamonte Springs, FL.
