Morbid Angel are pioneers in Death Metal. Originating in Tampa, FL in 1984, Morbid Angel is one of the very first Death Metal bands ever, and has carved a path for the genre like few others.

The ever-changing roster of Morbid Angel has been a veritable “who’s who” of Death Metal musicians for the last 25 years. Erik Rutan, Mike Browning, Steve Tucker, and Jared Anderson are all Morbid Angel alumni. The remaining members, are all legends in their own right as well. Trey Azagthoth, David Vincent, and Pete Sandoval all stand as some of the most accomplished Death Metal musicians in history.

The albums created by Morbid Angel have followed an alphabetic pattern, with each successive album title starting with the next letter in the latin alphabet, than the previous album.
