Hate Eternal formed in 1997 by Erik Rutan as a side project from his other commitment, Morbid Angel. The original lineup included Jared Anderson, Tim Yueng, and Doug Cerrito.

The band has had it’s share of accomplishments and setbacks in it’s history. Lineup changes have plagued the band, as has the death of Jared Anderson in 2006. Nonetheless, the band has persevered to record some of the best albums Death Metal has ever seen.

Erik Rutan, is a very well accomplished producer, who has worked on a number of albums. His producing is primarily accomplished at his studio, Mana Studios, in Tampa, FL. Erik’s producer portfolio includes work for Cannibal Corpse and Six Feet Under.
