Fury and Flames, is the fouth album by Hate Eternal, seminal Death Metal band lead by the equally awesome Erik Rutan. The album is the first after the death of former bass player Jared Anderson. Erik made it clear this album was an emotional response to Jared’s death.

If that’s the case, then the emotion felt was utter dispair.

The first song on the album, Hell Envenom, is an absolute aural assault. There’s just so much going on, in such dissonant way, that the listener is immediately confused.

Suffice to say, the album is completely awesome!
